Im just confused bc to my knowledge the author identifies as a male, and half of the time its really wholesome? i personally dont like the more suggestive jokes, but why is it specifically fetishized when its just portraying poly relationship? (at least after the setup) im not trying to look it at the perspective of the author's bad past, but as the media standalone. i think the beginning could have been better to represent a more realistic way of getting into polyamory. I completely agree with the enforcing gay stereotypes and infantilizing mlm. Hey could you explain why boyfriends fetishize gay relationships? /gen Smh I love writing long, all over the place, rants nobody will ever read at 3am in the morning If someone gay, they gay, they don't have to wear big fat rainbows and glitter to prove it Some people don't realise that gay people don't look different from straight people and just because someone vaguely resembled a stereotype, cough cough goth, emo, uwu, cottage core, e.g., does not make them gay. It's sick, because I know as a fact some of these people who 'support' gay rights and stuff only support the stereotypes. Most of these comics are just made for the purpose of other people fetishizing gay relationships, like a little puppet show. You can tell they've never seen a real life gay person. The readers who leave comments like 'OMG THEY'RE SO CUTE I CANTTT EKRJEKDN' or 'I SHIP SM ARGHG' also irritate me sm. I kind of feel like the author inserted their ideal self into an otherwise decent webtoon. The only relationship that works, in my opinion, is the three without the nerd and the lesbians. He's three different stereotypes that really don't fit together, fit, no, CRAMMED together- In my opinion, for the nature of the webtoon, it really doesn't fit at all- forget nerd stereotype, he's like the Y/N insert stereotype. Also notice how he's the one with the most varying ourfits, hell, his hair changes colour multiple times- He's also very inconsistent, not even a very good stereotype- the other three don't have any major changes, but the nerd? It's like he's constantly switching between uwu, shy, innocent boy and raging, horny, hentai enjoyer with no shame AND the flirty, teasing, I-know-what-I-do-to-you guy. It was obvious just looking at the four of them in terms of character design too, you can switch the personality of the other two and I wouldn't notice. All four of them are supposed to be together but throughout the whole thing, it was very much focused on goth and nerd, the other two felt very forced. The way he is obviously supposed to be the maid focus too. He's the most fetishized out of all of them and it makes me cringe so much. Also, how was the whole thing so slow burn but fast burn at the same time? It's a little bit weird as the nerd is very obviously portrayed as a child-like, cutesy character that, even in the artstyle, looks way younger than the others. He makes my blood boil sm- the way the others immediately want a relationship with him i m m e d i a t e l y is so annoying, it was just 'you're cute, let's fuck', none of the 'getting to know each other' stuff, which lowkey makes me uncomfy because they're in a long term relationship.
